Like father, like son. Doughboy, JJ’s son, is grown up and ready to start his own street racing career. Lee Roberts was happy to let him give a few go’s in the Night Force, though his first passes left a lot to be desired. Still, in Memphis they’re family and JJ wasn’t about to deny his own life’s passion to his son. Doughboy got to have his first race against the boys from Mississippi.

Synopsis: Michael forgot to turn his bottle on, giving Brian and Memphis an easy win.
Race 3 –

Driver: Jake Snider
Car: Big Block Camaro
Bet: 750
Winner: Jason Ainsworth
Synopsis: Ainsworth had a strong start off the drop, leaving Snider in his dust the whole way down.
Race 4 –
Driver: Donn Gingrich

Driver: Zack McCarver
Car: 64 Chevy Nova
Bet: 1000 – Hit: Zack
Winner: Donn Gingrich
Synopsis: Despite Zack having the hit, Donn took off first. All Zack needed to do to win was to sit still, but he took off anyway and crossed the center line. As JJ says, “A chase is a race.”

Driver: Erin Bussard
Car: The Menace
Bet: 1500
Winner: Midget
Synopsis: Even with some trouble halfway down the track, Midget managed to take down Mississippi’s shot caller.
Race 6 –
Driver: Lee Roberts
Car: Night Force
Driver: Scott Holloway
Car: 76 Chevy, Small Block Nitrous
Bet: 1500 / Hit: Scott
Winner: Scott Holloway
Synopsis: It was a close ending considering Scott’s hit and a slow response from Lee. Memphis loses this one.
Race 7 –
Driver: Dennis Bailey
Car: Street Sweeper
Driver: Clarence Stafford
Car: Camaro Promod
Bet: 500 / Hit: Clarence
Winner: Dennis Bailey
Synopsis: Clarence had the hit, but couldn’t take advantage of it. His nitrous didn’t activate as he left and he crawled over the line. Dennis Bailey wins.
Race 8 –
Driver: Doughboy
Car: Lee Roberts’ Night Force
Driver: Jeff Speer
Bet: 500
Winner: Doughboy
Synopsis: Doughboy takes his first win as Jeff’s trans brake failed to launch on time. Still, Doughboy did a good job going A to B.
