The Series Premiere Recap

Discovery’s newest series, Street Outlaws Memphis kicked off with a strong start last night as JJ called in some of the strongest racers in the south to take on his team. In Memphis, the drivers are like family so if one racer loses, they all lose. There’s no list here, just real street racing and big, big bets!

Race 1 –

Driver: Precious

Car: Ole Heavy

Driver: Shane McClelland

Car: Chevy Nova

Winner: Precious

Synopsis: It was barely a race. Precious made a strong pass and left Shane in her dust.

Race 2 –

Car: Big Block Kills

Driver: Quinn Shireman

Car: The Purple Duck

Synopsis: Quinn’s engine died just as he went to pull the trans break. His car never left the line.

Race 3 –

Synopsis: Brian Britt came strong off the drop and never saw David.

Synopsis: There was a question about whether or not Midget crossed lanes when she won, so they agreed to race it again at the end of the night.

Synopsis: Kenneth took off down the street making sure that Memphis’ undefeated run continues.

Synopsis: Right off the drop, Lee’s driveshaft came flying off the back of the car. Memphis loses this one.

Race 7 –

Synopsis: Richard’s car was just spinning at the drop and he was never able to catch up to Dennis.

Race 8 –

Synopsis: After an incredibly strong lead, Ronnie blew his tires and he had no chance to catch up.

Race 9 –

Synopsis: It was a fair race, but the killer cab was just too fast for Jamond to keep up.
